Parking fees for hospitals and various healthcare facilities across Quebec will be reduced as of this Saturday!
Users of these habitually overpriced parking lots will be able to benefit from a free service for the first two hours of use.
The maximum rate will be between $ 7 and $ 10 per day depending on the region.
This pricing will apply in all Health care establishments in the network, such as hospitals and CLSCs.
Special rates already in place for people who must receive dialysis or chemotherapy in certain establishments will be extended to the entire health network.
In addition, the residential and long-term care centers (CHSLD) will offer free parking for two family members of each resident.
Quebec will compensate the parking companies for their loss of revenue.
