A Colorado low will affect much of Quebec beginning Saturday evening.

A mixture of precipitation will accompany this system. Precipitation will start generally as snow, especially in areas north of the St Lawrence River, before changing to rain. An area of freezing rain could also affect a portion of Southern Quebec. The low will then move northeastward on Sunday, resulting in a mix of rain and snow over Eastern Quebec. Precipitation could be significant over some regions of the Gaspé Peninsula and the Lower North Shore overnight Sunday.

The amounts and types of precipitation expected will depend on the track of this system, which is still uncertain at this point.
