The south-shore morning commute was disrupted today when a car stalled on the 138 upramp to the Mercier bridge at approximately 5:30 a.m.. Rush hour traffic was backed up into Chateauguay and Kahnawake for 2+ hours leaving motorists late and frustrated. Why SO LONG to tow? MTQ? How can ONE car stalled create such traffic mayhem?
Unacceptable indeed.
We are awaiting a response back from Transport Quebec officials.
